Blake from the Glee Project will show up in a couple episodes, so that means one more.Well, we all know Jake is joining, so then they'd only need 2 more members to fit the minimum, and I imagine those are new characters we haven't met yet.Weren't twelve members required to compete? When they post the list with the New Directions members for the 2012-2013 term, you can see there's only nine members. Her drinking could keep her from learning and performing complex routines (In-Universe explanation) and I don't think Kate Hudson has the dance experience to perform difficult choreography (out of universe explanation). She obviously has a drinking problem (seen in "The New Rachel") She is teaching because she is mentally broken down, not physically. After "Britney 2.0" I think it is a little from column A and a little from column B.That number was clearly supposed to be cool, awesome and ubertalented but Kate Hudson, while she defended herself pretty nicely, simply doesn't have the dancing skills to do a top-level choreography. Hate to say this, but Glee writers aren't that subtle. If that were the case, she shouldn't have been able to do that number at all without some serious arthritis meds and a couple weeks of pain. However, I kind of lean towards the former at this point because.well, if she was that fabulous, why is she teaching and not performing? She's not really old enough to be completely broken down like older dancers get, and even if she was I'd expect some indication that she's in pain or has some problem or something - in short, that the reason she doesn't perform is that she just can't anymore. (Past tense because I'm out of shape.) I was not impressed by that number and I'm confused how even a layperson could have been. I topped out at a lower-intermediate dance level (and that's a generous estimate) and I could have done that routine. Too soon to tell, but I agree with you.Does anyone know if this was intentional, to provide another strong hint that she's not as good as she wants her students to think she is, or if it was an example of Glee having a scene where they need a character to have a LOT of talent but the actor/choreographers/whomever don't quite have it? There were a couple of impressive bits, but they were all separate with plenty of student-level stuff in between, and most of the work was being done by the guys in the scene. Rachel's teacher, when supposedly proving how awesome she is at dancing, didn't choose a particularly strenuous routine. Also, it's sort of implied that with the second straight loss at Nationals last year, the glory days for VA are a thing of the past.Sunshine's situation was quite different, since Carmel High was sponsoring her visa. Also, wasn't it established in season 2 that it is incredibly difficult to leave Vocal Adrenaline, when Sunshine had to pick between being deported and staying with the group?.Is the show ever going to treat Lima and Akron like they're on opposite ends of the state and not one town over? Who is Unique living with?.If his dad didn't tell him - or his mum didn't find out about his dad's other family and tell him - he might have worked it out from the publicity surrounding New Directions' Nationals win.For that matter, how does Jake know about Puck but not vice versa?.A half-sibling from their mother's side. Then how does Puck have a little sister?.From there it's easy to imagine that he married Jake's mom but later split from her as well. In "Britney 2.0", it's implied that Puck's dad did marry his mom, and that Jake's conception was the reason for their divorce.

It's not unheard of for single mothers to give the child the father's surname, or a hyphenated surname. If Jake and Puck's deadbeat dad is their shared parent, why do they share a last name? In the US, the baby normally gets the mother's last name if she's not married, and it's very unlikely that Mr.
